Notes by Jeff K:
In January of 1993, The Prodigy was on their first tour of the USA, along with Moby and Cybersonik (Ritchie Hawtin, and John Acquaviva). The tour stop in Dallas was on a Saturday night (01.23.1993) at the legendary Bomb Factory in Deep Ellum. Coincidentally, Edgeclub 94 was broadcasting live just a few blocks away at Club “It.” Since KDGE and Lizard Lounge sponsored both the rave and the mix show, and since I’d already had The Prodigy on my show a year prior, it was a no-brainer to have Liam Howlett swing by for a LIVE MIX. /On the record that is available on youtube/ you’ll hear us chatting briefly at the start and at the end, but in between is an amazing 30 minute mix of some of the best early 90s UK breaks and techno.
