Wicked Rave!!
My very first rave. I was 17 and got in with my mates license who I looked nothing like. Was such a shame the place was guttered and replaced with a Chinese furniture knockoff showroom. Tho also cool it encapsulated that event as a unique and significant moment in the Brisbane Rave scene that can never be replicated or revisited which has added to the lore of that rave and created a special kind of bond for those who attended it ever since. I still have my serrated cut laminated lanyard ticket and full back page Rave ad packed away somewhere. That night literally changed the corse of my life forever.
My 6th rave. 3rd time ever taking party drugs which was acid for me, The Site was Brisbanes best ever venue – period, sure we had the Roxy accross the road but The Site was better. The parties at the Site were madness, closest Brissie hadto a uk rave club. Wow, 30 years and 2 day since 11/06/1994. Wish i could get into a time machine and go back.
