Clever Brains Fryin – it’s the name of Keith Flint’s new band. The five piece band (turntablist DJ Jason Laid Back who provides the musical back drop, MC Bad Manner and MC Sir Real, a female vocalist Claire Cherequi and Keith Flint) will be showcasing it’s brand new sound for the second time at Global Gathering (Godskitchen) on Saturday 31st July 2004. First live performance was last weekend at Donatella’s Versace Fashion parade in Milan (Italy).
Keith Flint and his new band shocked the Versace’s public in Milan last weekend. The blonde and sweaty performer first launched among the spectators of the parade, for then to simulate a scene of oral sex with a man and to lick the face of a woman, while all the others implored that he didn’t direct toward their place. ‘CLEVER BRAINS FRYIN’ exhibited before the parade then as a detach between the Versus and the Versace parade. Just in this second occasion, interpreting ‘Superstar’, Flint jumped among the public, laying down between stunned high society ladies.
‘CLEVER BRAINS FRYIN’ have been working together in the studio for over ayear and are now ready to get tot he show on the road. The sound is a mish-mash of styles, tough break beat and of course Keith’s distinctive vocals’

The lead singer with the band Prodigy, Keith Flint, shocked Milan’s fashion establishment by simulating oral sex with a male spectator and licking a woman’s face during a Versace fashion show in Milan.
According to accounts in Monday’s Italian newspaper, Flint livened up his performance in Milan over the weekend by jumping off the catwalk and moving his pelvis close to a man’s face before terrorising other spectators with sexual innuendoes.
The act was seen as a carefully choreographed publicity stunt ahead of the release of the group’s latest album, “Always outnumbered, never outgunned”, which is due to hit music stores in August. Flint had reportedly nearly broken his leg while practising the stunt.
Host Donatella Versace had been keen to avoid a different kind of scandal by forbidding Flint from wearing a tee-shirt with references to Satan on the catwalk, reports said.

Flint, who escorted the blonde designer to the AmFar Aids gala in Cannes last month, took to the stage between the Versace and Versus menswear presentations on Sunday night, with his band, to scream and shout and generally misbehave – apparently in an effort to garner as much publicity for their forthcoming album, Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned, as for the collections themselves. Successfully done. The audience, including a svelte Catherine Zeta-Jones, who had picked a black halterneck gown for the occasion, went wild for it. “I love this Prodigy thing,” said Uomo Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Dello Russo. “I love loud music and that crazy man. It’s very of the moment.” Keith, who apparently almost broke a leg during rehearsals for the energetic – at times almost pornographic – performance, clearly enjoyed himself, too. “Milan smells of style and sex,” he said after the show. “I like to bring the ugly to the beauty.”
